Eat for Equity Stamford has been serving tasty nutritious meals (for a small donation) to hungry patrons for almost two years.

And now, the group is asking for your support.

The Stamford chapter of Eat For Equity will host a benefit (it also happens to be their 10th community dinner to-date) for the nonprofit organization on Saturday, August 16, 7-10 p.m. Go here to make a reservation.

Here’s more about Eat For Equity:

Eat For Equity is a national network of sites that builds a culture of generosity through sustainable community feasts. We invite people to come together to eat, drink, give what they can and raise thousands of dollars for nonprofit causes. Proceeds will benefit both the national Eat For Equity organization and the Stamford chapter.

There is a suggested donation of $15-20 for the dinner, “but give what you can,” the organization said.

As always, the menu looks incredible. Check it out:

Appetizer: Summertime Shish-kabobs with onion, summer squash, mushrooms and sage butter

Main Event: Green salad with cucumber, feta, olives, tomato & balsamic vinegar; grilled corn on the cob with Sriracha and mayo; garden lasagna with zucchini & eggplant

Dessert: Peach Cobbler with Vanilla Ice cream
