As you probably know by now, Jennifer Aniston has been spotted around Greenwich and Stamford this month filming scenes for a new movie.

That’s exciting for a number of reasons, one being the chance to spot local landmarks on the big screen when the movie is released in 2014. But that’s only fun if the movie isn’t excruciatingly awful.

So what can we expect from this Aniston movie? Well, the good news is, it’s based on a novel written by Elmore Leonard, so it will most likely be worth the price of admission. The novel, “The Switch,” is a prequel of sorts to Leonard’s “Rum Punch.” That novel was successfully adapted for the screen by Quentin Tarantino in 1997.

If you’re unfamiliar with Leonard’s work, here’s a look at some of his stories that have become movies or TV shows.
