LATEST UPDATE: 5:43 p.m. E.D.T. Monday
Some Twitter users have gone quiet today — and apparently not by their free will.

Screengrab of Twitter banter about the reported suspensions.
Reports across the net indicate a number of suspended Twitter accounts — including @marismith, who Mashable reports has a relatively large number of followers.
Twitter says accounts may be suspended for any of the following reasons:
- Terms of Service Violations
- Technical Abuse
- Spam Investigation
Twitter advises folks who wish to contest an account suspension to contact their Spam/Abuse or support teams. You can do so by clicking here. Users logged into Twitter can click here.
It was reported by one blogger that some accounts were freed from suspension within 10 minutes… although the numbers of such incidents were reported as “few.”
The same blogger reported that the social media site was in the process of restoring accounts.
Mashable reports Twitter as saying the account suspensions were due to human error and that steps were being taken to rectify the situation — hopefully within hours. Click here to read the full statement.
By Monday afternoon, most user accounts have seemed to have been restored and Twitter users have changed their focus to other things — such as Michael Jackson.

Jamie,
How do I go about enticing a reporter like you to write a feature article about a potential technology that will revolutionize the market?
