Supremes Say Tommy Marra Will Continue to Rot in Prison on Murder Conviction

Associate Justice Joette Katz wrote the state Supreme Court decision last week that turned down Bridgeport auto thief\murderer Tommy Marra’s attempt to question the evidence of the decayed foot of Alex Palmieri, the teenager he murdered, stuffed into a fridge and tossed into Bridgeport Harbor, in attempt to prevent the teenage kid’s testimony back in 1984.
Katz said the “overwhelming
evidence of the petitioner’s guilt that would be unaffected
by any exculpatory DNA test results, we conclude

that the trial court properly denied the petition.”
