Malloy, in Torrington City Hall on Thursday night “to annoy everybody,” will be shorter

Asked whether he’s gone to school on his Bridgeport town hall-style meeting from Monday night, Gov. Dannel P. Malloy told reporters Wednesday that he’ll try to cut his 20-minute budget pitch down to 15 minutes. “Listen, I understand that people aren’t necessarily going to agree with this budget. In fact, I’m in a world where I probably annoyed just about everybody in the state. All’s I ask is that you appreciate that I’m trying to do the job. I’m not playing with gimmicks.” Torrington City Hall at 7 will be the site of tonight’s taking-it-to-the-people tour. Only 15 more after tonight.
