Paid-sick leave set for approval in Judiciary Committee. Malloy hasn’t planned to lobby the Senate

The Judiciary Committee is poised this afternoon to approve paid sick leave for restaurants and businesses that employ 50 or more. The House will most likely pass it easily. The Senate is more uncertain, however. Gov. Dannel Malloy, who favors the bill, just told reporters that he hasn’t planned to lobby the Senate.

“It’s the first time I’ve had that question raised and I haven’t considered it,” he said in response to the Blogster. “I’ll think about it.”
