Reapportionment Committee violates FOIA, fails to post agenda 24 hours before meeting

The legislative Reapportionment Committee will meet tomorrow to continue – or start – its haggling over district lines for House, Senate and Congressional seats. The meeting is set for 2:30 in LOB Room 1-C. But the agenda hasn’t been posted and therefore the committee, made up of top lawmakers in the House and Senate, is in violation of the state Freedom of Information Act because an agenda was not posted 24 hours before the meeting. The Blogster doesn’t anticipate anything huge coming out of the meeting, because its actual deadline is November 30.
