Connecticut Probate Court’s website has a new function to search for cases

The state’s Probate Court website has been revised to include a case look-up function, among other features to make it easier for people to find deatails on cases, as well as user guides to help them understand the court process.

“Our goal in presenting this website is to make it easier to use the Probate Courts,” said Probate Court Administrator Paul J. Knierim in a statement. “The site carries on our tradition of customer service by making key information about the courts readily available. We hope that people will find the site to be a useful tool.   The searchable database provides users with information about decedents’ estates and trusts through a case lookup function that is available for searching from Jan. 5, 2011 to the present. Using the case lookup, users can determine which court is handling the case and find contact information for the executor, trustee and attorney.”
