Malloy, during his (irregular) regular meeting with state commissioners, will tout increasingly “lean” state government

At 1:30, Gov. Dannel P. Malloy will hold his usually-monthly meeting with state commissioners that hasn’t been convened for at least a couple months. He will release “a detailed report documenting efforts achieved by state employees during the past year that are making state government leaner and more cost-effective” as part of his mandate to make government leaner and “business-friendly.” He says over $2 billion has been saved.
