A protest is planned for 11:30 this morning on the sidewalk outside the Cathedral of St. Joseph, 140 Farmington Avenue in Hartford, claiming that the Archbishop-designate, the Rev. Leonard Blair, bishop of Toledo, impeded a police investigation into the murder of a nun by a priest and should explain his actions. The protest will include a former child sex-abuse victim who is a member of the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP). Also, two Catholic parishioners who belong to a reform group called Voice of the Faithful will attend.
