Jim Finley, long-time leader of the CCM, is retiring effective March 13, 2014.
” It has been a great ride,” he aid in an email. “I have been fortunate to have been instrumental in the accomplishments of CCM for over three decades and having played a key role in developing the advocacy and service program excellence Connecticut towns and cities rely on from our statewide association of towns and cities. It has been challenging but exhilarating to have dealt with virtually every major public policy issue that has impacted towns and cities over the last thirty years.  I have greatly enjoyed these efforts on their behalf in the public policy arena and other areas.  It has been a privilege to dedicate my professional career to date to the interests of local government in Connecticut and nationally.”
