The House Democratic caucus today is mourning the death of Rep. Elaine C. O’Brien of Suffield, after what Speaker of the House Brendan Harkey is calling a courageous battle with brain cancer. The second-term lawmaker served on the Commerce Committee and the Transportation Committee was was also vice chairman of the Appropriations Committee.
