Malloy, via spokesman, piles on Rowland felony indictment

boom4Andrew Doba, director of communications for vacationing Gov Dannel P. Malloy, on this evening’s federal indictment of John G. Rowland, the disgraced former governor, who spent 10 months in prison after a 2004 guilty plea for federal corruption and now faces seven felony charges for alleged violations of campaign-finance law:

“This is another sad chapter in a story that Connecticut knows all too well.  Law enforcement should be commended for their diligence on this matter.  Governor Malloy hopes for a quick resolution.”
