Open Sesame! Open Data Advisory Panel gathers on Wednesday

Malloy to advise on the goals of the state’s new open-data portal, will have its inaugural gathering on Wednesday at 1 o’clock in Room 1-B of the Legislative Office Building. “Making more data publicly available not only makes government more transparent, it also creates an opportunity for innovation and economic growth,” Malloy said today.  “I’m excited for this group to get to work, and for the tremendous opportunity their works gives us to make government more accessible to residents.” The panel will advise on how data is managed and released online.
