SHAC chairman says final report on Newtown massacre will be released in about 6 weeks

Hamden Mayor Scott Jackson, who heads the governor’s Sandy Hook Advisory Commission, just told reporters that he anticipates a final report in about six weeks. Speaking before the commission’s 10 a.m. meeting, in which testimony will be received from Newtown teachers, Jackson said that he anticipates no cooperation from Peter Lanza, the father of murderer/suicide Adam Lanza, who killed his mother, then drove to Sandy Hook Elementary School, shooting to death 20 first graders and six adults on December 14, 2012.
