The Blogster nominates Shelton Mayor Mark Lauretti, whose call for no on-street parking in advance of last week’s non-blizzard was thoroughly ignored, even by the local DPW, who acknowledged a thorough disconnect with emergency-services officials. Today, after Lauretti’s order that cars may be parked only on the even-numbered side of the street, we have further ignorance, including this luxury vehicle hidden in the accumulated depths on Oak Avenue. Not only that, but DPW plows have been blithely sealing in vehicles parked on the even side.
