Shortly after 11 last night, the House approved legislation that would exempt Bridgeport Bluefish games from 10-percent admission taxes, from July 1 through June 30, 2017. It would join the existing tax-free benefits for admission to the XL Center in Hartford and the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport. The vote was 119-23 and the bill, HB 7060, heads to the Senate.
