Senate President Pro Tempore Martin M. Looney
today took umbrage with a disparaging remark Gov. Dannel P. Malloy’s Capitol spokesman made last week toward state Sen. Gayle Slossberg, D-Milford.
“It was a gratuitous shot,” Looney told the Blogster, who at the time was cooling his heels outside an executive session of the State Elections Enforcement Commission. The issue was the continuing skirmish over Malloy’s $103 million in cuts ordered last month, most of which was directed at hospitals. Here’s the link to the column:
