Rams’ Harry Stanton, five Darien players named boys lacrosse All-Americans

Tonight, the world of Connecticut high school boys lacrosse will convene at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington for the presentation of All-State, All-American, Academic All-American honors among other awards for the 2014 Connecticut High School Coaches Association All-State banquet. The event is set for 7 p.m. and will also recognize the Darien boys lacrosse team as the 2014 team of the year.

Five members of the Blue Wave squad, Peter Lindley, Phil Huffard, Mark Evanchick, Kyle Cornell and Harry Gillespie, have been announced as All-Americans, in addition to New Canaan’s Harry Stanton. Multiple players from both schools were also named to the All-State teams, including all of the aforementioned All-Americans.
