One day during my environmental policy class, my friend showed me a new trick to make my computer battery last a little bit longer. I thought he was a genius and decided to share it with you. Today’s Be EGOlogical tip: Dim your computer to save your battery life on your computer. Dimming your screen makes the screen darker so you use less energy to power it, therefore your battery lasts longer. A longer battery life means less charging time and less charging time. Less charging time reduces the amount of energy it takes to charge your computer, therefore saving you money on your energy bills and preventing excess greenhouse gasses from accelerating global climate change during the energy production process.
