It seems as if another day off was enough for Brittany Hunter. Word came in late Wednesday night that she was given the thumbs-up to play Thursday at Villanova.
Hunter, who tweaked her problematic right knee in the second half Saturday against Hartford and was forced to leave the game with 17:07 left, did not play Monday against Army and did not practice Wednesday once the Huskies returned from Tuesday’s off-day.
Barring any setbacks during shootaround or in warm-ups she is not on target to start her ninth game this season. Charde Houston would again return to a reserve role.
