“I am excited about the opportunity to get back on the basketball court,” Radde said. “Coach Walz was very understanding last year in letting me pursue my academic goals despite the timing of my decision. I have my academics in order and will graduate in May with a degree in biology and plan to take my MCATs and apply to medical school. Coach Walz understands what it truly means to be a student-athlete and how our education is our first priority. When I approached Coach Walz about returning to the team he was very open and supportive. I look forward to ending my career playing for Coach Walz and the Louisville Cardinals.’’
The Huskies will travel to Louisville Sunday.
Eight of the 11 Huskies earned a 3.0 grade point average during the fall semester. They will be honored during halftime of the game against St. John’s at Gampel Pavilion Feb. 13.
