The two-time defending national champion Huskies, who currently own a 78-game winning streak, won’t have to wait long for their first test next season. After meeting Holy Cross Nov. 14, they will host Baylor and 6-foot-8 All-American Brittney Griner Nov. 16 at the XL Center.
The game against the Lady Bears, who return four starters, is be part of a home-and-home deal, with UConn heading to Waco, Texas during the 2011-12 season. It will also be a rematch of the national semifinals in San Antonio, in which the Huskies earned a 70-50 victory behind 34 points and 12 rebounds from Maya Moore.

Obviously, I think Geno wants the streak to end. UConn will be good, but to take on Baylor so soon in the season when a new lineup will be in place and the pivot position in doubt, I am not so certain that UConn can maintain the streak.
