Miss Maya has Not been terrible, of course.
Coach Auriemma has made Comments about her Defensive Play and being a College Player on the International Scene.
Miss Maya “leads” Team USA with 10 Turnovers in 3 games.
And she continues to Shoot Short occassionally like she has done at UConn. That usually is a Sign of either being Tight or Fatigued.
Hope that Miss Maya can be as good as DT3 was her Junior/Senior seasons.
Yes, Maya is taking her lumps against those “other countries best players”. LOL Versus Senegal she was the GAME’S leading scorer! Against France she is the games leading rebounder and almost gets a double-double. Maybe she will snap out of it in the medal round?
Maya Moore is learning there is a huge difference playing against other countries best players versus NCAA players.
Hopefully this will help make Miss Maya become a more fierce competitor like Diana Taurasi was at UConn.
