SNY released its 20-game broadcast schedule last week. But, more importantly, it also released its broadcast team.
Andrew Catalon, who served as a play-by-play announcer at the London Olympics for NBC, will handle the play-by-play duties. He will be joined by former UConn standout Meghan Culmo, who had been a mainstay for CPTV’s UConn coverage over the years. Kerith Burke, an SNY reporter/anchor, will be the sideline reporter.
Gary Apple, who hosts SNY’s Big East basketball studio shows, will anchor the network’s studio coverage along with former UConn All-American Kara Wolters.

Rich

The schedule is just great but anyone with dishnetwork will have to buy a special sports package for an additional $9.00 per month in order to see it. None of these sports channels have anything of interest. I have their 250 channel package which includes a lot of the major sports programs but it doesn’t include this rinky dink one. You have to order it special.
I guess the great female leader at UCONN feels it is better to serve Pennsylvania with UCONN Women’s Basketball than and let the Connecticut viewers pay. Makes you think of a kickback.
I bet all of Pennsylvania can’t wait for opening night.
