Chong Sets Westchester Girls Basketball Scoring Record

UConn-bound guard Saniya Chong scored 43 points in an 88-79 win over Hamilton today to set the Westchester girls basketball career scoring record, according to lohud.com. She had 24 in the fourth quarter and has amassed 2,492 career points.

Chong will now attempt to break the Section 1 scoring record of 2,662 that was set by Karen O’Connor of F.D. Roosevelt High in 1987.
