Sophomore Brianna Banks will undergo an MRI on her right knee Monday, according to a UConn spokesperson. Her injury is currently being categorized as a sprain.
Banks was forced to leave Saturday’s 71-65 win at St. John’s with 10:02 left in the first half. She was called for an offensive foul after a collision with Red Storm junior and Norwalk resident Briana Brown.
Banks is averaging 7.3 points and 17.1 minutes in 21 games this season.
