ALWAYS FOUL when up 3 late. Period. Shame on Geno.

Interesting remark Jeb! Last night it was so noticeable with Breanna that I made a remark to my cousin who was watching the game with me. The coaches are a sleep at the wheel. Why does she watch the ball?

Here is a coaching tip for Brianna Stewart…..when she shoots a foul shot or a jump shot she looks up at the ball..this is a no no. Someone should tell her that…keep your eye on the rim at all times even after the shot is released. This information is free of charge from someone who knows a thing or two about shooting.

  4. Questions That Need Answers says:

If the primary goal of Auriemma and UConn is to win the NC, why does he care about winning by 35+ ppg? Why does he care if UConn loses 3 to 6 regular season games? Doty has taken 2 FT all season and shot 37%. Why not let Jefferson play 20 mpg regardless of the competition. Give her experience that she can’t get in practice. It benefits UConn this season and next. Same with Stokes. The goal is a NC, not winning every regular season game. Develop your players for next season. Bench Doty and Hartley when they stink up the joint.

And THAT is why I have been saying for 27 years why you should foul when up 3 points and the other team has the ball and time winding down. When you foul, you win 99.8% of the time. When you don’t foul…..well, you see it happen on every level, every night.

For someone who has coached 7 POY and multiple AA to 7 NC, Geno forgot Basketball 101. Foul before a shooter attempts a 3PT to tie the game. If your center has 4 fouls, tell her Not to screen 80 feet from the basket. Great decision to leave Doty and Hartley in so long. No sense in seeing if Stokes can block a few shots and rebound. No sense in seeing if Buck can give you 1 minute in each half of solid defense. Live by your favoritism. Die by your favoritism.

Doty and Hartley are the worst back court in UConn history under Geno. Do they even practive dribbling and passing? Do they even practice decision making? What is Shea doing with the guards?
