Rumors surfaced this weekend that UConn assistant coach Shea Ralph will be a candidate for Clemson head coaching position. The job opened when Itoro Coleman was fired Friday after posting a three-year record of 25-63 (10-38 ACC).
UConn coach Geno Auriemma said tonight that he was unaware that the Clemson position was open. Also, Ralph has yet to say anything at all to him about it.
“I would think that any job that opens Shea’s going to be a candidate for it,’’ Auriemma said. “But no one’s contacted me about it.’’
