Report: Williams To Have Surgery In Connecticut Next Week

UConn commit Gabby Williams, a 5-foot-11 guard from Sparks, Nev., will undergo surgery to repair a torn ACL in her right knee in Connecticut next Thursday, according to the Reno Gazette-Journal. It will be the second procedure on the knee in less than a year.

Williams, a McDonald’s All-American who was injured during a win over Spanish Springs Jan 21, had surgery to first repair the ACL Feb. 11, 2013. She is hopeful that she will be ready for the start of next season with the Huskies.
