Camara Commits To Kentucky

Former UConn Class of 2015 target Batouly Camara, a 6-foot-2 forward from New York, N.Y., has orally committed to Kentucky, according to Bret McCormick of All-Star Girls Report.

Camara said last month that she planned to take her official visits this fall. But, as we have seen, things can happen fast when it comes to the recruiting process.

Camara going to Kentucky is good for Women’s basketball.
What’s bad and not reported in CT is that Diamond DeShields has taken residence in Tenn.
Now here is a girl who supposedly was homesick for Georgia in NC , but chose Knoxville Tenn a bit further than NC. She left a team of standouts who–by their presence in the Elite 8 and battling Stanford to a standstill for 38 minutes–down by 3 with 1.5 minutes left. That team will return all starters–should have been a final 4 team in 2015…So what was Diamond’s problem??? Obviously she wasn’t homesick—maybe NC just wasn’t a big enough WBB name???
