Miss America may not be coming back, but Miss’d America is.

Following a five-year absence, the 2010 Grey Goose Vodka Miss’d America Pageant – a drag queen beauty pageant and charity fundraiser created as a spoof of the Miss America Pageant – will return to Atlantic City on Jan. 31, 2010, at Boardwalk Hall.

Richard Helfant, President of the Greater Atlantic City GLBT Alliance, will hold a news conference at Boardwalk Hall on Tuesday to announce the pageant’s return, accompanied by representatives of sponsors Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc. and Harrah’s Entertainment Inc. Also there will be show writer and director Robert “Sandy Beach” Hichen and still-reigning 2005 Miss’d America Andrea LaMour.

The pageant will benefit the GLBT Alliance as well as the Schultz-Hill Scholarship Foundation, The William Way Center of Philadelphia, Broadway Cares-Equity Fights AIDS of New York City and the South Jersey AIDS Alliance.

The pageant, which used to be held at the now-closed Studio Six nightclub on Mount Vernon Avenue, raised an estimated $250,000 for the AIDS Alliance from 1992 to 2004. The last pageant in 2005 included a production of “A Pageant on the Hoof,” a satire of “Fiddler on the Roof.”

The LGBT website unzipped.net is reporting a “disagreement” between Rubin and Hilton over an appearance booking on KTLA’s morning show on Monday.

KTLA had booked Hilton to promote his new book (!?) at 9:20 a.m. on Monday, but when he showed up an hour and twenty minutes early and reportedly wanted to do his segment right then and there, things got shiteous…

Because even simple scheduling misunderstandings can be exploited if you have the maturity of an 8-year-old girl, Perez Hilton took to his Twitter to call KTLA liars. Meanwhile, KTLA’s Sam Rubin took to his morning newscast, which viewers hopefully weren’t watching for actual news, to call Hilton a liar.

Ladies please a little decorum. Nothing like a couple of  …. never mind.
