As a way to gauge the general health of Fairfield’s population — and to put together the kinds of public-health services most beneficial to the community — the town Health Department is conducting an online survey of residents’ views about top health issues and concerns.
The survey, which is supposed to take about 10 minutes to answer, is being conducted in collaboration with other municipal health departments, hospitals and health-care organizations in Bridgeport, Easton, Monroe, Stratford and Trumbull — known as the Greater Bridgeport Primary Care Action Group.
Questions range from concerns about major illnesses in town to personal health issues like smoking, weight and health-care providers.
Answers to the survey are anonymous.
It must, however, be completed and filed by next Tuesday, Jan. 15.
