“Holiday Memories” at the Theatre Artists Workshop!

The Theatre Artists Workshop continues it’s 30th anniversary season with the hugely popular holiday show, “Holiday Memories”, by Truman Capote, Nov. 30-Dec 2. “Holiday Memories” combines two Capote short story classics, “The Thanksgiving Visitor,” and “A Christmas Memory.” In both, the younger and older Truman recount memories of times with their beloved cousin, Miss Sook, as they face an unwelcome visitor for Thanksgiving, and produce the annual batch of pies for Christmas. Full of warmth, friendship, and generosity, the play allows audience members to leave with an understanding of the true value of holiday memories.

The show will be performed as a Classic Night staged concert reading and the cast will be familiar to audiences who’ve seen many great TAW productions through the years: Katie Sparer (Stratford, CT), Jo Anne Parady (Southport, CT), Kristin Graham (Trumbull, CT), Chilton Ryan (Weston, CT), and Richard Leonard (Cos Cob, CT), directed by Mark Graham.

For this show, reservations are not taken, so please arrive early for the best seats. Donations are both encouraged and gratefully accepted. Theatre Artists Workshop is at 5 Gregory Boulevard, Norwalk.
