A Conversation With Christopher Walken

|

The Stratford Arts Commission and the Stratford Center for the Arts at the American Shakespeare Theatre bring Academy Award winning Christopher Walken, Academy Award winning actor and one of the most versatile and respected actors of stage and screen for an Alumni Return Talks event. This SOLD OUT event will have Mr. Walken talking about about his life and career, including his season at the American Shakespeare Theatre. Walken played Hamlet in a 1982 production at the American Shakespeare Theatre, directed by Peter Coe, that included Hollywood and stage luminaries Anne Baxter, Chris Sarandon and Fred Gwynne. Since then, Mr. Walken has appeared in over 100 television and films and is the winner of an Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor in The Deer Hunter. This is second in a series of American Shakespeare Theatre Alumni Return Talks, to benefit the revitalization of the Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford.
