Summer Sunday Evening Concerts—Galvanized Jazz Band

1372366140_thumbTomorrow at the Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens, enjoy a nice Sunday evening with family, friends, or just come solo for some great jazz performed by local musicians.

Bring a chair or blanket, your favorite beverage and a light snack (no cooking allowed) and enjoy a relaxing night of great music on the lawn. The Galvanized Jazz Band is a dynamic group of Connecticut musicians devoted to the energetic performance of hot Dixieland, New Orleans jazz, blues, rags, stomps and classic popular songs from the past century.

Members $5,non -members $10. Children under 12 are free. In case of inclement weather the performances will take place inside the new Silver Educational Center on the same grounds.

*Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens’ 91-acre nature preserve is a living museum of majestic trees, rare plant collections, charming gardens, and varied natural habitats and walking trails. It is open to the public every day of the year and features the new Silver Educational Center and children’s outdoor Nature Explore Classroom
