Grammy Award winner Melissa Etheridge will perform at the Ridgefield Playhouse as part of a limited run of live dates in an intimate theatre setting. This show is a rare opportunity to see the rock icon perform in a stripped-down atmosphere, rotating between electric and acoustic guitar, piano, and harmonica.
Known for her confessional lyrics and raspy, smoky vocal, Etheridge has remained one of America’s favorite female singer-songwriters for more than two decades. She stormed onto the American rock scene in 1988 with the release of her critically acclaimed self-titled debut album, which led to an appearance on the 1989 Grammy Awards show. Hitting her artistic and commercial stride, Melissa’s success has landed her multiple Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, and the Songwriter of the Year honor at the ASCAP Pop Awards in 1996.
You will fall in love with this solo acoustic performance from a true music icon. Don’t miss your chance to get tickets for this rare show!
