Bloomfield-based Kaman Corp. announced it bought Florida Bearings Inc., based in Miami for an undisclosed amount.
Florida Bearings will become part of Kaman’s Industrial Technologies Corp. subsidiary. Florida Bearings distributes bearings, power transmission and pump products. Its services include maintenance and repair for motor, gearbox and pumps serving the water, waste water, food and other industries. The company has annual sales of $20 million, according to Kaman’s release.
Kaman shares were down 1 cent to $31.88 in light trading in the afternoon.
