Bic honors real tough mudders Wounded Warriors

|

As part of its $100,000 donation to the Wounded Warriors Project, Shelton-based Bic USA is sponsoring Tough Mudder and shaving heads at 35 of the events.

Bic wants to make 10,000 people bald to raise awareness for our wounded vets. And indications are, our men and women in the military are facing lean times as the Defense Department reduces forces under sequestration and more are discharged.

“Our Unleash Your Tough promotion and BIC 4 GOOD campaign is a fantastic way for people to raise awareness for an important cause and have fun in the process,” said Meghan Barbosa, brand manager – shaver marketing, BIC Consumer Products USA. “Our partnership with Tough Mudder will help us reach consumers across the country to get more people involved in the BIC 4 GOOD project – and ultimately help our nation’s heroes through the vital services provided by Wounded Warrior Project.”

Looking for a way to Unleash Your Tough? This year BIC® Razors is sponsoring Tough Mudder, one of the nation’s fastest-growing and most-recognized endurance series, as part of its “Unleash Your Tough” national promotion.

Wounded Warrior Project provides services for injured service members including combat stress recovery, advocacy toward legislative and governmental policies and TRACK, a 12-month education program for wounded service members designed to jumpstart their education and career goals.
