Berkley donates $10 million to NYU for MBA program

William R. Berkley, chairman and CEO of the W.R. Berkley Corp., an insurance holding company in Greenwich, has donated $10 million to create The William R. Berkley Scholarship Program to support exceptional seniors who wish to pursue their master’s degree’s in business administration at the New York University Stern School of Business.
Berkley earned a bachelor’s degree from the school in 1966.
His gift is one of the lead gifts in NYU’s recently announced “Momentum Campaign” to raise $1 billion in six years for scholarships.
