Bandaging the roster

Jeremy Colliton isn’t likely to play this weekend, and Jeff Tambellini got the call to the Isles as well as Frans Nielsen, so the Sound Tigers actually brought two guys in: Johnson and Johnson.

Gregg, Windsor’s own, was here this morning, skating with Blake Comeau and Eric Boguniecki. He got the call from Trenton late last night. He played the first full season of his pro career with Jack Capuano in Pee Dee, and he played last year for Binghamton. Calls himself a solid two-way forward; Dan Marshall remembered him as one of Norfolk’s better players in that game here a couple of weeks ago.

Jamie, you may remember from training camp. He’s on his way from Augusta and should be available for this weekend’s road trip.

Update 2:15 p.m. – If stuff like monthly awards interests you, Jason LaBarbera (8-2-0, 1.88, .945) edged out Wade Dubielewicz (6-1-1, 2.07, .947) and 10 other nominees (including Stephen Valiquette (6-1-0, 2.00, .926)) for AHL goalie of the month.
