Edit: Adding just a few statistical quirks that jumped out: 1) Though Walter had some goal-scoring droughts last year, he never went more than four AHL games without at least one point. 2) He scored only one point, a goal, at even strength in his final 10 Providence games… but in those 10 games, he had a goal and seven assists on the power play. 3) Providence played 13 opponents last season, and Walter scored at least two points against all of them except one: Bridgeport (0-0-0 in three, but eight shots on goal, including five on Super Bowl Sunday).
