Well, it’s everywhere. Howard Saffan is back from Moncton and raving about Jamie Fraser. Dropped weight, got faster, got more agile, looked great despite feeling the nerves of being in NHL camp. He’s excited about the potential of the defense, with the balance between the puck-movers and the stay-at-home types. Will be interesting, for sure.
The Islanders lost to Montreal in overtime at the New Forum or whatever it’s called; the Islanders sent the juniors back to their clubs. Kimber chats with Bill Guerin and tosses in some nice notes.
They come home tomorrow, so we should have some sense of the first set of cuts by Sunday at the latest.
Ryan Caldwell was sent to San Antonio. Dunno if it’s online, but a press release had Cody Rudkowsky in camp with Worcester.
