Two down

I usually say that five games is a really small sample, and don’t read too, too much into it. At the same time, Bridgeport had never faced more than eight five-on-threes in any single five-game span before. What makes it even worse is there wasn’t one at Hartford: They’ve racked up nine two-man disadvantages in four games.

This chart is hand-collated, so I’m not gonna guarantee it’s perfect. That said, I double-checked that I at least looked at every game, so it’s got that going for it. Figured I’d wait for San An-Iowa to finish up tonight. No five-on-three there, but there was a little three-on-three (and a Caldwell short-handed empty-netter)…
