OK, I went and looked it up, so here it is. The Sound Tigers didn’t lose four games in five nights at all through their first three and a half seasons. Since then, they have done it once a season: January 2005 (which included a shootout loss), December 2005 and February 2007.
That streak has not continued. Nor has Jeremy Colliton’s streak without a goal (he and Bootland snapped theirs in back-to-back games). Nor has the losing streak. Nor have Joey MacDonald’s 1-for-8 and the power play’s 1-for-26 runs, which aren’t streaks per se but fit the format.
You’ll see it in the gamer, but remember what Colliton was talking about Saturday? They did it Sunday. Those things they had been doing right, they did more of: Good cycles, good work in the corners, going to the net with authority.

Albany called up Kirk MacDonald, skated him in warmups, and scratched him. (Spares us a three-MacDonald game, anyway, and saves a scratch announcement.) Albany’s actual lines: Bayda-Johnson-Petruzalek; Angelidis-Gove-Blanchard; Damon-Aucoin-Samson, with Nolan interjected, and Gillies tossed in on occasion. Damon got his first goal in the AHL.
D-pairs from the early second on were MacDonald-Spiller and Kohn-Rullier.

Hold your breath on that three-on-three to begin overtime, but it worked out OK for Bridgeport.
