Chasing the clouds away

Keith Johnson is up from Utah and skated in Blake Comeau’s spot with Colliton and Haskins. Had heard rumblings (well, a rumbling) about him coming up, but it comes at a good time because of two things: 1) Sean Bentivoglio is questionable for Wednesday after he took a hit up high Sunday; they hope it’s a one-day thing; and 2) Kip Brennan isn’t getting any help on his game misconduct Sunday, and since that’s his third — he had the two in Hershey at the end of that game Nov. 17, the third-man-in and secondary-altercation — he’s suspended for a game.

But he’ll be back Friday, when Bridgeport visits the… XL Center. Hmm. “When Bridgeport goes to the Mall.” Yeah, that sounds better.

I fear the wrong impression is out there about this Tambellini thing, so let me toss all joking aside: The kid wasn’t ducking us. I stopped somewhere before we reached him in the dressing room (’cause, you know, you’re supposed to work a dressing room sometimes). When Tambellini was in the back, Bootland appeared before I could yell over to him. I didn’t want to call him over while he was in a towel. He probably went through the room when we were asking Brennan about the tie. We hung around waiting for him in vain. In short: We missed each other. Frankly, I thought it was funny. If any other impression was given, that’s my fault.

As for where the hats go… I’m not sure. One to ask.
