Aaron Johnson joined the Sound Tigers for their early-morning practice today. He’s here on a conditioning loan. He’ll make the long bus trip, as will Justin Bourne, up from Utah. (Bourne’s gear will not be on the bus, because it didn’t make it from Utah. The airline was, Bourne hoped, sending it to Norfolk.)
With no Bourne, and with Jeremy Colliton getting the day off, it was a short group up front; Jeff Tambellini remains in the NHL. Mark Wotton won’t go to Norfolk but could join them along the way if he’s feeling OK.
