Obligatory relevance first: The Isles say Mike Sillinger is out three weeks, which sure makes it look like at least one of those call-ups is long-term.
Sounds like nothing else would come down today, though crazier things have happened. We’ll see how the Big Club gets through tomorrow’s Anaheim game. The Tigers have tomorrow off.

Google places the ads on this blog, a decision made much farther up the chain than where I am. Google sometimes feeds ads for political candidates. Given what we do, I think it’s worth mentioning that political candidates whose ads appear here are not necessarily endorsed by us as a paper or me as a person*. My hope is that national political discussion stays away from this corner of the Internet… unless, y’know, the shootout comes up at a debate or something.
Actually, everything advertised isn’t necessarily endorsed, yadda yadda yadda.
That said, primaries tomorrow, in case you somehow missed it. Get votin’, if eligible.
*-Unless a La Guardia ad pops up. That would be awesome, albeit unlikely. And I’m not sure he’s eligible anymore.
