Andy’s comment needed moderation for some reason (spam filters: gotta love ’em), but he earlier posted a link to a clip of the Brennan penalty. I’m not sure it does him any favors. Like I said last night, it didn’t look naked-eye like he was trying to throw the knee out there, but I’m not sure there’s a “eureka” moment on that clip — for either the prosecution or the defense.
Which leaves two things: one is the accumulation of game misconducts, which means Brennan is automatically suspended for the next two games. And the other is that it’s Kip Brennan, which will also do him no favors.
Jesse Joensuu skated with them today. He’s a big man. Will try to get something together on him next week. With the women’s tournament in town, space is tight. And Andy Sertich continues to improve and will skate with the team Monday.
We should get in touch with Dave Baseggio and try to set up a Ben Bishop-Joey MacDonald match.
