Tambellini was beaten out on left wing by Pascal Pelletier and Brett Sterling for the all-star teams. I’d imagine several votes were in before Tambellini returned to Bridgeport on Friday, and I wonder if that extra week might have changed some minds. Anyway.
First team: Leighton; Hutchinson-Nycholat; Pelletier-Krog-Purcell, the first time since ’03-04 that the East has beaten out the West. (There were five Eastlings that year, too, including Jeff Hamilton.)
